Spencer County Attorney

The Spencer County Attorney's Office is dedicated to upholding the law and serving the community with integrity and professionalism.  Our office provides comprehensive legal representation to the Spencer County Fiscal Court, elected officials, and all county departments and agencies, ensuring that the county's operations adhere to legal standards.  We are actively involved in the prosecution of criminal, traffic, and juvenile cases in Spencer District Court, as well as handling cases of dependency, neglect, and abuse in Spencer Family Court. Our responsibilities also include the preparation of mental inquest petitions, warrants, and guardianship or disability petitions.  Additionally, our Child Support Division is committed to the enforcement and collection of child support, along with the establishment of paternity, to support the well-being of children in our community.
