Taylorsville-Spencer County Joint Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on the 6th day of January 2022 at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time in the Fiscal Court Meeting Hall located at 28 East Main Street, Taylorsville, Kentucky.  The commission will be reviewing the following application(s):

  1. Glen Goebel requesting preliminary plat approval of Goebel Crossings Phase 5 consisting of 64.121 acres proposing 48 lots located on Hochstrasser Road and Nevin Lane.

  2. Glen Goebel requesting preliminary plat approval of Goebel Crossings Phase 6 consisting of 46.270 acres proposing 30 lots located on Hochstrasser Road and Nevin Lane.  

  3. George W. McMichael, Jr – Requesting a zone change from AG-1, agricultural to R-1, residential on a 1.921 acre tract of land located in the 4300 block of Plum Creek Road.

  4. Clear Dreams Inc – Requesting a zone change from AG-1, agricultural to R-1, single family residential on a 65.44 acre tract and from AG-1, agricultural toAG-2, agricultural on a 0.64 acre tract of land located on Hochstrasser Road.

  5. Clear Dreams Inc – Requesting Preliminary Plat Approval on 66.08 acres proposing 49 lots located on Hochstrasser Road.

Information on the above applications is available for reviewing in the zoning office Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Information will be posted on the county web-site www.spencercountyky.gov and our Facebook Page.
