U.S. Flag Etiquette Program
In partnership with NACo and the National Flag Foundation, Spencer County has installed a flag retirement box, sponsored by KACo, at no cost to the county.  The box is located at the Spencer County Judge Executive's office on 12 W Main Street.  Flags should be folded respectfully before being placed in the box.

 

High School Co-op
18 year old Spencer County High School students have an opportunity for co-op work with the county road department. Please contact Mark Thomas at 477-3250. If you are not 18 yet and still interested, call Mark and he will add you to his list.

This opportunity helps build your resume and has potential for full-time employment with benefits.

Calling all citizens of Spencer County - KIPDA Area Development District has partnered with Breaking Point Solutions to conduct a Regional Broadband Feasibility Study to help develop a robust telecommunications infrastructure in our region, which will improve access to quality education, quality of life, and advance economic development.
