Applications for 1st Reading

Fiscal Court of Spencer County on the 3rd day of October 2022 will consider the following ORDINANCE(S) for second reading and adoption:

  1. Brandon & Ashley Cantrell requesting a zone change from AG-1, agricultural to R-1, single family residential on a 1.9051 acre of land located in the 3000 block of Dutchman Creek Road.
  2. Shannon & Julia Wright requesting a zone change from AG-1, agricultural to AG-2, agricultural on a 5.217 acre tract of land located in the 2100 block of Mitchell Lane.
  3. Proposed Ordinance No. 2, Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Series. An ordinance re-adopting the current Taylorsville-Spencer County Comprehensive Plan Goals and Objectives.

 

Applications for 2nd Reading:

Fiscal Court of Spencer County on the 19th day of September 2022 passed the following ORDINANCE(S):

           

  1. On motion of Esq. J. Moody, second by Esq. M. Moody with all members of the court present voting “Aye”, to approve the zoning application of David M & Ann Marie Williams from AG-1, agricultural to AG-2, agricultural on a 6.85 acre tract of land located at 707 Greer Road based on the recommendation and findings presented by the planning commission.
  2. On motion of Esq. Beaverson, second by Esq. Travis with all members of the court present voting “Aye”, it is hereby ordered by the court to approve Ordinance No. 1, Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Series. An ordinance amending Article IV, Section 403.7(D) of the Spencer County Subdivision Regulations of 2022 pertaining to widening of existing county roads prior to development when warranted. Amendment to become effective on the date of final adoption.

Please note that Spencer County Fiscal Court meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month. The first Monday at 9 am & the third Monday at 7 pm in the Fiscal Court Meeting Hall at 28 East Main Street in Taylorsville, Kentucky.
